What we do

Our services

At SmackTalk, we offer a range of services designed to educate and support communities in suicide prevention and protection against online harms.

SmackTalk sessions

Wayne’s address is a powerful, lived-experience presentation on youth suicide prevention and online harm, with everyday skills to help people recognise when someone is struggling and take action. Attendees leave with a stronger understanding of digital risks, the importance of their community, and the confidence to hold courageous conversations that can save lives.

Targeted programs that help young people navigate mental health challenges effectively.

SmackTalk is often called upon to advise on legislative changes and their implementation, including the Social Media Minimum Age Legislation, with Wayne on occasion asked to address the nation at press conferences with the Prime Minister.

SmackTalk combines lived experience with a growing commitment to evidence-informed practice. Through formal evaluation frameworks, university research partnerships and ongoing program review, we are building a robust evidence base to understand what works, improve program quality and strengthen long-term community impact.

Australia’s national day of awareness for reducing online harms and reconnecting through meaningful conversation.
